SuDotKu — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Ober Games (“we”, “us” or “our”) handles information in connection with the SuDotKu mobile application (“SuDotKu” or “the App”).

1. Information Stored on Your Device

SuDotKu stores certain information locally on your device so that the App can remember your settings and game progress. This may include:

• game settings and preferences;
• selected symbol style and vibration preference;
• game progress and saved games;
• score;
• validation token balance;
• game statistics; and
• Premium entitlement information.

This information is used to provide the corresponding features of SuDotKu. We do not require you to create a SuDotKu account in order to play the game.

2. Information You Choose to Send to Us

If you contact Ober Games by email, we receive the email address you use and the contents of your message. We use this information to respond to your enquiry, provide support and deal with matters relating to the App.

3. Advertising

The free version of SuDotKu uses Google Mobile Ads to display advertising. Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and share information such as the device’s IP address, user interactions with the App, diagnostic information, and device or advertising identifiers. Google states that IP addresses may be used to estimate the general location of a device. This information can be used for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention.

The precise information handled can depend on the Google Mobile Ads SDK version, configuration and the user’s choices. Google states that data collected by the Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. More information is available in Google’s Google Play data disclosure.

4. Advertising Consent

For users in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area and other jurisdictions where applicable, SuDotKu may request consent concerning personalised advertising and related data processing. Where required, SuDotKu will use an appropriate consent mechanism to allow users to make choices about advertising and related data processing.

5. Premium Purchases and Validation Tokens

SuDotKu may offer optional digital purchases, including Premium access and Validation Tokens. Purchases made through Google Play are processed using Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your full payment card details through SuDotKu. Google may provide information necessary to confirm a purchase or entitlement.

6. Third-Party Services

SuDotKu uses third-party services including Google Mobile Ads / AdMob for advertising and Google Play Billing for digital purchases. These services may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms.

7. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

SuDotKu does not require your name, postal address, telephone number or contacts in order to play the game. SuDotKu does not intentionally collect precise location information for the purpose of providing the game. We do not sell your personal information.

8. How We Use Information

• to provide and operate the game;
• to save and restore game progress;
• to remember settings;
• to maintain scores, statistics and validation tokens;
• to provide Premium features;
• to provide and manage advertising;
• to process and verify purchases;
• to provide support when you contact us;
• to maintain security and reliability; and
• to comply with applicable legal requirements.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Game information stored locally by SuDotKu remains on your device until it is deleted by the App, overwritten, reset using an available App function, or the App and its associated data are removed. SuDotKu does not currently operate a user account system or a server-based game profile.

If you contact us by email, we retain correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, provide support, maintain appropriate records and meet legal obligations, after which it may be deleted. Third-party services may retain information according to their own policies.

10. Children’s Privacy

SuDotKu does not require children to provide personal information and does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children for the purpose of creating accounts or profiles. Our Google Play target-audience and child-directed treatment settings will be applied according to the audience we declare for SuDotKu.

11. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information handled by SuDotKu and use reputable third-party services for advertising and payments. Data handled by Google Mobile Ads is encrypted in transit according to Google’s published SDK documentation. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete or restrict certain processing. Because much of SuDotKu’s game information is stored locally, you can generally remove it by deleting the App and its associated data, subject to your device and platform.

We may update this Privacy Policy when SuDotKu’s features, services or legal requirements change. The latest version will be made available within the App and on this website. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
